The bronze monument that is installed in front of the office of AGD DIAMONDS JSC (successor to the Northern Geological Survey Trust) is a cumulative portrait of a geologist. The geologist holds a pick axe in one hand and a rock in another hand.
The authors of the monument are Gennagiy Pravotorov, sculptor and Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, sculptor Sergei Syukhin, and architect Dmitriy Yaskorsky. Monument unveiling was in April, 2021 and coincided with the 90th anniversary of Arkhangelsk Geological Survey Enterprise that was set up in 1931 in Arkhangelsk. The geologists of this enterprise have discovered more than 400 mineral deposits in the Arkhangelsk Region, the Komi Republic, the Nenets Autonomous District, and other regions of Russia.
