Description
The embankment got its name not by accident: there is a house where the polar explorer Georgy Sedov lived in 1912. He stayed at this house while preparing for an important expedition to the North Pole.
The embankment has its own charm because there are old houses traditional for Arkhangelsk. It reminds of the past of the city. The embankment stretches along the Northern Dvina River for more than one kilometer. At the moment, the embankment is under reconstruction and is being actively repaired.
