Памятник Ф.А. Абрамову
Fyodor Abramov (29 February 1920 — 14 May 1983) is a famous Russian writer, master of village prose and literary critic. He was the first one who described in his novels (“Wooden Horses”,”Pelageya and Alka”, etc.) a northern village and difficult lives of the Russian peasant class.
The monument installed by Arkhangelsk Regional Scientific Library is the first monument to Fyodor Abramov in Russia.
The author of the monument is Nadezhda Shek, an Arkhangelsk sculptor and Honored Artist of the Russian Federation.
