This complex part of the exposition is devoted to the epoch of Peter I and defence of the northern borders of the Russian state.

The central part of the exposition is the model of the Novodvinskaya Fortress with interactive audio and visual elements. Moreover, here you will find models of other historical sites of Pomorland, sailing ships models, a collection of cannons and cannon balls, rare books side by side with computer displays full of detailed historical information. All the treasures are “guarded” by the mannequins in soldiers’ costumes of the 18th century.
